The story of Cyberpunk 2077 begins with players learning what it takes to step into the city and make a name for themselves.     In "Cyberpunk 2077", the degree of freedom of the elements for growing the main character V is very high. Based on ability values, there are skills and perks that accompany it. In addition, the origin of the main character, called the life pass, influences the development of the story and the way of going around in the night city. With these combinations, it is possible to pursue any play style.

    Ability score

    The basics of character growth are the following five statuses.

The value of Credo will increase the types of stores available and the jobs requested, giving you access to higher quality items and rewards.

    Play Review: The wide range of characters that can only be found in this world

    It's finally time to land in Night City. A world view that includes huge buildings and slums, high-tech and low-tech, inorganic and organic matter, all in one, order and chaos, desire and despair, eroticism and gloomy. This is this! The biggest attraction of "Cyberpunk 2077" is that people who like it can fully immerse themselves in this world view that they like.

    In this preview build, only the prologue of the game was playable (it still takes about 4 hours), but you'll see aspects of the night city other than stories and art, such as casually heard inhabitant conversations and wall posters. Only with the effect of the first person perspective, you can get a very immersive feeling. The degree of attraction is amazing ... or rather, I thank you so much.

    Since it will be built up in such a night city, I would like to stick to V character creation. Face details, skin color, tattoos, etc. are often seen in other games, but in this work you can also turn on and off teeth, iris, and nipples. What was even more surprising was the ability to choose a female voice (and vice versa, of course) for a male appearance. In this case, V is recognized by other characters in the game as the gender of the selected voice. In addition, V is a young man in his twenties, so for example, he cannot look like a grandpa.     Each district of Night City

    The situation at the start of the game changes according to the life path selected as described above. Characters that appear at the beginning of each life pass often do not appear in other life passes, and the area to play at the beginning is also different.     Night city district

    The map of this work is divided into six districts, Watson, Westbrook, Santo Domingo, Pacifica, Haywood, and City Center, and the surrounding area called Badlands.     Play Review: Walking around the city full of new discoveries

    I chose Nomad as my life path. The story begins in the suburbs of Badlands, where a lone wolf with no connections or money does a small job. In the process of his opening work, he meets Jackie, his partner in Night City, but the way he meets depends on his life path.     ● Mox Mox is a group of powerful gangsters, although their scale and territory are not as good as other gangsters.     ● Alasaka Alasaka is one of the most influential giants in the world, providing security services for businesses and banking services for the elite. He is also known for his bloody "secret activities" carried out by ruthless agents and mercenaries, while flaunting himself as the ruler of Night City in a sophisticated ultra-high-tech facility.

    ● Millitech Millitech , one of the world's leading manufacturers of military weapons, vehicles and equipment, is Arasaka's biggest rival. It operates globally regardless of customers, and carries out missions such as defense, peacekeeping, and national control through a network with private military contractors.

    ● Kang Tao In the competition between companies, it is a new entrant player and at the same time the most vigorous company. A Chinese company known for making firearms, especially their latest generation "smart guns", are becoming more and more popular in Night City.

    Play Review: Yaba guys who have only habits liven up the story

    The characters that appear in this work, especially the people who are directly involved in the story, are all quirky. Rather, there is only a habit. Jackie, a buddy, is a nice brother, but his attitude is arrogant and he suddenly becomes a gangster and gets angry. But he can't hate him because he even repairs and returns the damaged V car.

    He hasn't met T-Bug in person (so far), only talked through chips, but he's a very reliable net runner and a commander of the team. When he went to rescue a woman, he gave instructions to carry out the mission smoothly.     Play Review: Not a common “my own story”

    Familiar with past trailers, we finally meet Dex. I'm going to steal stuff from the gangster's Maelstrom, but before that, a (arbitrary) side quest to meet a Millitech agent who was robbed of stuff occurs. I made an appointment on the phone, but it got a little messy, so I left it and headed to Maelstrom's hideout first (an agent sent me a Buchigire mail). This is a terrible situation later ...

    Negotiations with Maelstrom leader Royce began in the factory we headed to. The price should have come from Dex, but he just changed the leader, and he didn't know that. Hmm, this is a waste. If you think you should do it, you have the option of killing or incapacitating. When I hesitated, the time was up and I was suddenly shot by Royce and died.

    As I learned later, it seems that if I met the agent in advance, I could choose another option. There seems to be a solution with money or a moderate solution. After restarting, I decided to kill without hesitation. From there, it's the usual donpachi. For the time being, clean up the minions in the room and try to escape from the factory. His initial equipment handgun is clearly weak, but defeating enemies gives him good equipment and healing pills, so the fighting after that wasn't too hard.

    ・エージェントから受け取ったウイルス入りのチップをロイスに渡す・ロイスにウイルスについて警告する・自分の金でボットを購入する

    まあ僕はエージェントに会わなかったので、どの選択もできなかったわけだが。ええんや、あんなクズは即射殺や、というスタンスのロールプレイで行こうと思う。とはいえ、ほかの結果も気になるよなあ……。エージェントやロイスからもっと情報が得られたりしたよなあ……。

    装備とアイテム

    ナイトシティで名をあげるには、一流の装備品も欠かせない。この薄汚れた近未来の世界には、さまざまな武器やサイバーウェアが溢れている。自分のプレイスタイルにあった装備品を見つけよう。

    本作の銃は次の3つに分類される。

    機器にインストールできるデーモンの数は決まっているため、サイバーデッキのカスタマイズは直接戦闘を好まないネットランナーとしてプレイする際に重要となる。いくつかデーモンを紹介しよう。

    ●回路ショート対象のサイバーウェアを過負荷状態にし、回路をショートさせて電気ダメージを与える。

    ●強制自殺サイバーサイコシスプログラムをアップロードし、対象を自分の武器で自殺させる。

    ●オプティクス再起動対象の光学サイバーウェアを強制的に再起動させ、一時的に視界を奪う。

    ●SOS信号仲間からのSOSを模倣した信号を出し、対象を移動させる。

    ●オーバーヒート対象のサイバーウェアをオーバーヒートさせ、時間経過型の熱ダメージを与える。

    ●武器グリッチ対象の武器を故障させ、その威力を損なわせるか、対象に武器を持ち替えさせる。

    hacking

    本作にはハッキングを行うことで有利に立てる場面が多数ある。ナイトシティには無数のサブネットが存在するが、それらにアクセスするにはハッキングミニゲームを突破しなければならない。

    ミニゲームでは、ハックしようとしているネットワークにプログラムをアップロードすることができる。ハックできるのは機器に接続されたネットワークだけでなく、敵部隊の指揮系統に侵入することも可能だ。アップロードするプログラムによって、ハッキングによる効果も変化。プログラムをアップロードするには、盤面に表示された文字列から、プログラムごとに異なるコード配列を正しい順番で入力する必要がある。

    選択できるコード配列の数は限られているため、一度に複数のプログラムをアップロードするには、配列をうまくチェインさせるプレイヤースキルも必要になる。

    プレイレビュー:思いのまま過ぎるカスタマイズ要素がすごい

    自分の戦闘スタイルとしては、できるだけステルスキルを狙い、バレたらしゃーない、といった脳筋寄りタイプ。ステルス以外にも、ハッキングで弾を一発も撃たずに戦闘を回避することもできる。

    ハッキングはかなり遠隔で敵を仕留めることも可能。たとえば、目の前にある監視カメラをハックし、そのカメラから別の電子機器(冷蔵庫とか扉とか)をさらにハック。そこから警報を出したりして敵を引き寄せ、敵をサイバーデッキで自殺させるなんて芸当もできる。ただ、僕はハッキングの際のミニゲームが少しわずらわしく感じたので、けっきょく武力行使した。そういう人のために、ミニゲームをオフにする設定の追加も検討しているとのことだ。

    武器やサイバーウェア、スキルの組み合わせ次第で、プレイスタイルは無限に広がる。ゴリラアームで近接もいけるネットランナーなんてイロモノも楽しいかもしれない。記事冒頭では能力値などを紹介したが、ここで成長・カスタマイズ要素について少し掘り下げたい。

    5つの能力値それぞれに複数のスキルカテゴリーが存在し、それぞれのスキルにつき2~3系統のパークツリーがある。たとえば、肉体の能力値にはストリートブロウラー(近接戦闘系)、アスレチック(移動系)、アナイアレーション(ショットガンやLMGなどの取り扱い系)のスキルがあり、それぞれのツリー内にある無数のパークを取得することが可能。そして知力を上げれば、サイバーデッキの記憶容量を増やせる。

    また、特定の武器を使い続けると、その武器のスキルがアップして強化される。武器や防具、サイバーウェアには改造スロットがあり、たとえば銃ならマズルやスコープなどのパーツを取り付けられる。

    さらにサイバーウェアでは、光学迷彩やホロ迷彩(弾が当たりにくくなる)を備えたり、ブレードやロケランを腕に仕込んだり、HPやスタミナの増強など、多彩なカスタマイズが可能だ。

    copper?こだわり出したらキリがないほどのカスタマイズ要素!サイバーウェアはどれも高額で最初はなかなか手が出せないかも知れないが、どういうプレイスタイルを目指そうか考えるだけでワクワクしてしまう。

    体験プレイを終えて

    今回の体験プレイは4時間ほどで、最初はたっぷり時間があるなと思ったが、実際に終えてみると本当にあっという間。プロローグ部分だけで3時間強あるのだが、まったく中だるみせず、VとVを取り巻く人物や環境、そしてナイトシティというものをプレイヤーに強く印象付ける内容だった。

    そんなグイグイ引き込まれる物語に加えて、キャラクターのカスタマイズ要素の自由度、マップの広さと細部のディテール、あらゆる解決策が存在するクエストなどにも驚愕したが、何といってもナイトシティで生きているという実感を得られる没入度の高さ。

    一人称視点のRPGということで、とっつきにくい印象がある人もいるかもしれないが、一人称での表現や演出にこだわり抜いた本作は、ナイトシティに自分が存在しているという特別な体験を必ずやもたらしてくれると、ゲーム開始4時間のプレイでそう確信した。くり返しになるが、本作の没入度は非常に高く、たとえばサイバーウェアを眼球に取り付けるシーンでは、歯医者嫌いの人はかなりイヤな感じを受けるかもしれない(僕がそうだ)。

    そんな特別な体験(?)も詰まった『サイバーパンク2077』。Vとして服を着て、Vとして銃を構え、Vとしてナイトシティで成り上がる。まるで作中の“ブレインダンス”のような、このゲームの続きをプレイできる日が待ち遠しい! ジョニー・シルヴァーハンドさん、「準備はいいぞ!」。
