In conjunction with the accident, a mourning ceremony was held by the prefecture, and a moment of silence was held at the Matsumoto Fire Department, which lost two people.
More than 50 people from the bereaved family, firefighters, and local government officials attended the prefectural ceremony. The Governor delivered his condolences and vows.
Governor Morikazu Abe: "I hereby pledge to do my best as a prefecture to protect the lives of the citizens of the prefecture."
Captain Atsushi Mizusaki, Prefectural Firefighting and Disaster Prevention Air Corps: "We promise to continue our activities with safety as our first priority, never forgetting the lessons learned."

Toshiro Takashima, father of Noritoshi: "Not a single day goes by when I don't think of my son. I told him that (Noritoshi's) child is growing up well." That's the most comforting thing for us."
The air corps is active with a new aircraft, but due to a shortage of pilots, the dispatch is limited, and the enhancement of the system is an issue.
